The Windermere & District Foodbank provides vital support to individuals and families facing food poverty in our community. As the cost of living continues to rise, our work has never been more important — and we couldn’t do it without the generosity of local people and businesses.

That’s where our Friends of the Foodbank Scheme comes in.

Specifically designed for local businesses to help support the local community, by becoming a Friend of the Foodbank, your business can play a lasting role in helping us provide emergency food parcels, toiletries, and ongoing support to those in need — right here in Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside, and the surrounding areas.

Why Become a Friend?

Your support allows us to plan ahead and ensure we never run out of the essentials — from tinned food and non perishable goods to hygiene products and even some fresh produce. It also helps us provide a warm welcome, advice, and signposting to those who need more than just food.
