We simply couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers. They are the heartbeat of our foodbank. Whether it’s a friendly smile, or going the extra mile to keep our services running, every role matters.

Their commitment, warmth, and hard work are the reason we can respond when someone needs urgent help.

To every volunteer past and present we thank you, and we are endlessly grateful.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Our Community Larder is getting ready to open weekly (date to be confirmed) - and we need some amazing people to make that happen.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to one Friday a month, from 2:30pm – 5:30pm.

There are lots of different ways you can help — you don’t have to be a superhero, just willing to lend a hand!

1. Drivers – Help transport supplies
2. Strong helpers – Help unload the van and set up the larder
3. People people – Welcome visitors, chat and make everyone feel at home
4. Tea makers – Keep the kettle going and create a friendly atmosphere
5. Payment helpers – Assist with taking payments
6. General helpers – Help wherever you’re needed

Everyone has something to give. You don’t need previous experience. What matters most is being friendly, dependable and willing to help your community.

Could you spare one Friday a month? Could you help us get the Community Larder up and running every week?

Client Delivery Drivers

We are seeking back up drivers to support us in delivering food parcels to clients within the local area on Wednesdays, and occasionally Fridays between the hours of 1pm - 3pm. For this role, access to a vehicle is advantageous, but not essential, as our foodbank van will be available.
